The seventh day of Navratri is dedicated to Maa Kalaratri, the fierce form of Goddess Durga who destroys darkness, ignorance, and fear. Though fearsome in appearance, she is also known as Shubhankari — the one who blesses devotees with courage, protection, and auspiciousness.

As a trustee of Gyan Chand Jeevan Jyoti Trust, I (Gulshan Narula) believe Maa Kalaratri’s spirit reflects in our mission. For underprivileged children, illness and lack of education are like great darkness. Our trust stands as a guiding light, removing this darkness through free medical aid and quality education.
